Meet our very own champion, Junior Designer, Jasonš
Hello all!
I’m Jason, the Junior Designer at Yellow Cherry. I have been working at Yellow Cherry for over two years (I cannot believe it’s been that long already!). You may know me for the animations I have created for Yellow Cherry or for the various other design works I have completed. You may even know me from those monthly Backup and Update emails to make sure that your website is up to scratch.
As (currently) the youngest at Yellow Cherry, I started working with the team after an initial period of work experience which I completed after leaving high school. As a very visual and practical-driven individual, I never wanted to go to university, instead I wanted to learn and gain experience on the job. I got that opportunity when Yellow Cherry offered me an apprenticeship right after my work experience! After a year-long digital apprenticeship, I was promoted to Junior designer at yellow Cherry. For the last year, I’ve managed to spread my work and talents across many projects, logo designs, websites, and animations, with even more yet to come!

Outside of Yellow Cherry, I was widely known in the Kickboxing scene for winning multiple Scottish, British, Italian and World Adult Championships. I’ve also fought for and represented Scotland and Britain at numerous International and World Championships. I ended up “retiring” at the age of 18 to focus on pursuing a love I have for art, design and animation.
Nowadays, after a long day at work, I return home, relax and get cosy with a blanket while I sit down at my desk… and continue to draw and work on my art and animation projects. I rarely stop working and always try to improve my skills and work to new levels to create the best art and designs I can!
I may not always be able to answer support or technical issues at lightning speed, but ask me an obscure question about the Marvel or Star Wars movies and shows, and I’ll be able to rattle that information off the top of my head at the speed of light!
