Yellow Cherry is Hiring – Project Manager

Salary £25,000+ DOE

We are looking for a talented Project Officer/Manager (DOE) to join our team. You will oversee digital project delivery, including website and app development. You may be required to manage projects of another nature at times. A Project Manager closely interacts with clients to answer questions or address concerns, they are responsible for making sure our clients needs are met and their voices are heard while coordinating with our internal creative team during projects  – all within budget and the timescale agreed.

Ultimately, you need to be an absolute boss at juggling multiple set of tasks, projects and people!

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Act as the point of contact for clients during project delivery, translating technical or creative terminology in to layman’s terms and vice versa
• Responding to client communications in line with our service level agreement timescale
• Managing client expectations
• Anticipating delays and analysing impact on resources, adjusting plans as a result
• Scheduling work for the team
• Dealing with client concerns or complaints promptly and gently
• Stay up-to-date with digital technology and marketing trends
• Maintaining client records in our CRM
• Training, supporting and line-managing junior staff
• Resource planning for new projects and briefing the creative team
• Responsible for client on-boarding and project set-up on internal systems
• Preparation of documentation for projects (briefs, budgets, project plans, snag lists, go-live procedure)
• Working against a set of deliverables with the need to prioritise workflows and understand lead times to hit agreed deadlines
• Developing and delivering campaign and project progress reports to clients

Commercial Skills

• Preparing project costings and invoices
• Identifying budget or scope creep in advance of it becoming problematic
• Supporting the scoping and writing of proposals for clients
• Upselling products and services in line with client needs
• Reporting to Directors on the productivity of the team and efficiency of project delivery

Skill Requirements

• Prepared to occasionally travel and work unsociable hours to ensure projects are successfully completed

Demonstrable Experience

• Hands on experience using CRM software
• Managing digital projects
• Spreadsheet, word processing and slide presentation programmes
• Working on multiple projects with multiple deadlines at the same time
• Understanding of online marketing tools and social media platforms
• Building trusted relationships with colleagues, clients and suppliers
• 2 years agency experience mandatory

Desirable

• Knowledge in Website Development
• Marketing/Communications/Media/Public Relations or relevant degree qualification
