We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a WordPress Developer to join our supportive team, on a permanent basis, salary depending on experience in the industry and WordPress knowledge.
In this role you will be responsible for multiple areas of digital development including design and build of innovative and responsive WordPress websites, device testing and plugin management.
A portion of your time will also be spent supporting and maintaining, the 400+ websites we have built to date.
Our clients range from the meek to the mighty, spanning more than 50 industries, so you can believe that no two days are the same at Yellow Cherry!

Applicants should be willing to commute to our studios, not immediately due to current restrictions and not necessarily 5 days a week but collaboration in-person is key to our company culture. Our studio is light, bright and relaxed, it’s important to us that our people love the space they work in.

What would we like to see from you?
We have a lot of work in the pipeline – the ideal candidate would be in a position to join us over the next few weeks, raring to go!
You must have at least 2 years industry experience as a WordPress Developer (employed or freelance). Experience with other content management systems is an added bonus, but not a requirement.
You should have experience with Domain & Hosting environment set up and migrating WordPress websites.
You must be able to demonstrate implementation of Search Engine Optimisation best practice.
We insist on a proactive and enthusiastic attitude – at Yellow Cherry we take a holistic approach to projects, although your primary skill will be Website Development, we welcome your ideas and creative thinking across the board.
