The top 5 brands that we think are killing it on social media right now
It’s always good practice to see what some of the bigger brands are doing across their social media networks. It’s always nice to imagine your brand with hundreds of thousands or even millions of followers too. So we have created a list of our top 5 brands of 2019 so far. We think these brands are doing phenomenally well, and that you should keep your eyes on them too! There is no specific category that we have looked at, just brands that we think are doing well, and can inspire your feed too.

1. Absolut Vodka (@absolutvodka)
Over the past few years Absolut vodka have really stepped up their creative game in terms of what they post across their social media accounts. This popular vodka brand has continued to make a mark across social media by showcasing its competitions and different designers around the world that promote their brand. You’ll notice bright colours, fantastically put together videos and are spread throughout their feed covering different events and dates celebrated all over the world.
With the inclusion of the different media formats (still images and moving image) it helps their content keep looking fresh at all times, and also keeps their audience waiting to see what they put out next. They are continuing to be the leaders in their field in our opinion. When you think of a vodka brand, you think of Absolut Vodka.

2. Peel (@peel)
We have kept a close eye on Peels growth and how they have really excelled on social media, specifically instagram. Their feed is focused on remaining aesthetically pleasing and showcasing their products that users images to showcase their brand.
The visuals that are across their social media has a set style that we think the brand will always follow, their brand is synonymous with that aesthetic now. The visuals are; very well put together, focusing on the colours black and white, with the main focus on the image being the products even if they are mixed in amongst other items.
Their posting schedule is normally once every 24-48 hours which means alot of content going out. We are very excited to see the direction this brand will either keep going down, or if at some point in the near future change their overall aesthetic.

3. Chilly’s Bottles (@chillysbottles)
Chilly’s Bottle is a very interesting brand to watch across social media. They use their audiences participation to fill up their feed. They use a brand hashtag “#ChillysEverywhere”. When users of the products upload their images on social media with the attached brand hashtag, they stand the change to have their image featured on their page, and to their 187,000 followers (and growing) on Instagram.
With Chilly’s Bottles having such a diverse range of colours, designs and products, the advertising of their items basically does it for itself. Their choice to go down the route of their audiences images is a fantastic idea, because its brand allegiance and user engagement with their product.
They’re a fantastic case study in terms of a branded hashtag doing wonders for the brands image. We are going to keep an eye on Chilly’s Bottles as we think they’re a great brand to follow on social.

4. Nike (@nike)
Nike have always been known for putting out fantastic content, campaigns and images. Their social media is a fantastic showcase of not only their athletes achievements, but they celebrate all sportspeople and activity that is being done by everyone, without prejudice or judgement.
They have a fantastic mix of the images and videos that they post. From images of Serena Williams achieving another milestone championship title, to a marathon runner who is crossing the line for the first time and gaining the title of a “marathon runner”. They have a fantastic timeline of people in the middle of their story with sport and a showcase of everyone’s achievements.
Every single visual they put out is very well considered, and each caption goes with it perfectly. Nike is a fantastic brand thats social media posts and campaigns are ones we can all admire. Without a doubt a page you should be following.

5. Anese.Co (@anese.co)
Anese.Co are a brand that we can only applaud for their audience research. They know what their audience likes inside and out, they know their millennial audience like and what posts do well. They have based their brand around a very active demographic, they know what they live and breathe online.
Anese.Co are a skincare company that produce high quality product, but don’t take themselves too seriously. The visuals that are predominantly across their social media is one of the following; their products, their products packaging, products in use, or influencers using their products.
With their feed being a really well thought out mix of different imagery, it fits their audience perfectly. The theme throughout are the following colours: light pastel pink, light beige. Those colours match their brand products perfectly.
Overall this is a fantastic well thought out brand who have really done their research and really considered each image they put out. The images and campaigns have all done well, and everyone can learn something from this brand.

Bonus – 6. Douche Bags (@douchebags)
Douche Bags are our bonus brand to look at, because frankly it would just be rude to not include them. Douche Bags are a brand whose social media is what leads their sales and advertising front (or so we believe without seeing their analytics).
Their brand perfectly executes the fine link between brand and influencer. Their brand has created a wonderful partnership with all of their influencers who they work with time and time again. They put out wonderful images constantly that invite the traveller in all of use to book our next holiday as long as we bring along our new bag of theirs along too.
The power of the influencer that sometimes gets questioned when it doesn’t work, but Douche Bags hand pick their influencers, and they create long lasting working relationships with them too. Their brand perfectly embodies what it’s like to work with influencers well. They chose to work with people that only fit with their brand message, which is to travel the world and to share their journey. They are a brand that you should really consider following.
