There has been a theme going around our social media accounts for the past month or so touching on all things multimedia.

Lets quickly recap what that actually means:

Multimedia is content that uses a combination of different media forms such as text, audio, images, animations, video and interactive content. Multimedia contrasts with media that use only rudimentary computer displays such as text-only or traditional forms of printed or hand-produced material.

So today we will take a closer look at two of these elements that we utilise in our day to day operations at Yellow Cherry Digital,  Photography & Videography.

We use photos and video in many aspects of our creative process. From creating content for Google, Facebook, Instagram & LinkedIn ads to website design, brochures, banners, and corporate branding & identities.

We bring our studio TO YOU with our fully mobile photography studio. To make it really simple, if you need to capture something, we will most probably be able to assist you 🙂

The process is fairly straight forward. Once the photos have been taken we will run through all the images and make sure to choose the best ones for the project, get them touched up, edited and finally uploaded to the cloud for easy access.

Videography

There are many different types of video production:

The term “Video Production” is reserved only for content creation that is taken through all phases of production (Pre-production, Production, and Post-production) and created with a specific audience in mind. There is so much that goes on behind the scenes of a video production and most people are unaware of the process…..

For instance, writing a script and a shot list is integral to our process at YCD. These need to be finalised before we even start filming. Then, once all the scenes or shots from our shot list is captured, we move on to post-production, or “editing”.

Post Production also works in stages. First we compile the basic structure, then look into transitions before adding sound design which, btw, is its own monster. I absolutely love this part of videography. Adding different sound to the video to help tell the story better. After sound design, we move on to final colour grading and effects. Again, once we completed your video, we upload to the cloud for easy access.

Quite a mouth full, we know, but you can be assured that if you work with us for a video production that we have all aspects covered!
