Meet our pun-loving Studio Administrator, Jody

Hiya,

Seeing as it is coming up to my 1 year anniversary of working at Yellow Cherry (yes, I will accept gifts of champagne in case you were wondering), I thought it was about time that I introduced myself. So, I’m Jody and I’m the one who sends you all those lovely invoices, amongst other things! I am the Studio Administrator and I have a varied role which keeps me busy and entertained!

I am responsible for keeping the studio, and all our creative cherries, organised. I also deal with the banking, general administration, lots of behind the scenes stuff, dabble in marketing, social media, making sure your domains are renewed and you get your weekly fill of puns. If you get our weekly newsletter, you will understand. If you don’t get it, then where have you been? Subscribe now!!  I also water the plants when I remember (Sorry Sarah’s mum!).

Like my role at Yellow Cherry, my life pre Studio Administrator, was varied and entertaining! Although originally from the Highlands, I lived and worked in Edinburgh for many years before studying Psychology. When I graduated, I might have gone on holiday to Barcelona for a weekend, and ended up staying there for 7 years! I then met my now husband and was forced to move to Italy and eat pizza everyday, a hard life!  After living in such beautiful, hot, sunny places, we naturally made the decision to move to… the Costa del Inverness. We welcomed our little Italian-Scottish baby boy into the mix nearly 2 years ago and then I joined Yellow Cherry and the rest is history!

When I am not working, I am usually running about after my child and wishing I had time to bake, watch 80’s movies and up my photography game.

If I haven’t met/spoken to/emailed you yet, then I look forward to doing so soon, I love a good natter. And chocolate.
