An exciting opportunity has arisen for a developer to join our team at Yellow Cherry Digital Ltd. Based in the heart of Inverness city centre, the company has just celebrated it’s 10th Anniversary and continues to move from strength to strength.

Due to growing demand for our services we are looking to recruit a full stack developer as we expand our digital offerings into mobile app development and deployment.

Duties will primarily revolve around building mobile apps however due to the versatility of the work carried out at Yellow Cherry, you may be required to provide support to the rest of the team across a range of digital projects.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high attention to detail, be a confident problem solver and an open communicator.

Ideally you will have the following skills and expertise:

• Web and mobile application architecture design
• Development experience for both mobile and desktop
• Database (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web server (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
• Knowledge of multiple languages such as: PHP, Java, .NET, JavaScript, XML, jQuery
• Proficient experience using advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS, ReactJS
• Familiarity with API Creation and RESTful services
• Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications
• Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial or SVN
• Experience using cross platform app development platforms such as NativeScript or Xamarin
• Maintain code integrity and organisation as well as responsiveness
• Understanding and implementation of security and data protection
• Strong organisational and project management skills
