The great fruit debate
Some backstory to our brand
A joyful colour
Brand-ability was a key consideration and we just had to use the colour yellow for it symbolises optimism, cheerfulness and intellect – just a bundle of traits that run throughout our team.
There’s something symbolic about a yellow cherry
Yellow-tinged cherries, known as ‘Rainer’ cherries, are considered to be a premium variety. Given we have always endeavoured to provide a superior service, it would seem our brand is on point… or so we thought. Well, just as we begin our 14th year in business, we’ve had quite an unsettling realisation… be prepared, it’s a bit of a bombshell!
We’ve been debating whether we love cherries as much as we thought we did. 😲
Yes, cherries are the base of a good dessert, cherry bakewells or even a Black Forest Gateau, buuuuuuut so are bananas…think banoffee pie, banana bread, banana split…yum!
Let’s also not forget the apple. A humble apple crumble is a much-loved sweet treat across the team, but for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) purposes, we’d rather not rebrand to ‘Yellow Apple’ only to get caught up in searches for iPhones, Macbooks and the like.
It’s all turned a bit controversial in the studio. Decisions, decisions!
Our team are big foodies, so we thought if we were making a leap to rebrand (again!), it was appropriate to not stray far from our roots. Whilst our longer-standing team members were not all too keen to detach themselves from the faithful cherry, we ran a poll to determine the fruit’s fate.
Ironically, ‘Yellow Cherry’ was pipped to the post! With our latest findings, our rebrand to ‘Yellow Banana’ will be coming to FRUIT-ition soon.

Don’t be a (gooseberry) fool, for it is the 1st April after all! We’re not seriously rebranding to ‘Yellow Banana’, or ‘Yellow Apple’ for that matter, ‘Yellow Cherry’ still remains our pick of the bunch. However, if you’re looking to go through a rebrand, or even revitalise an existing, get in touch with us today to see how we can assist you!
