Meet our Digital Developer and Coding King, Ali.

Hallo!

I’m Ali. Our clients may already know me as the one who handles most support requests. I’m one of the digital developers here at Yellow Cherry.

At Yellow Cherry, I work mostly on the backend of websites. What does that mean? Well, I make sure the websites we create are up, running and working in the best way possible. I am a text lover and am happiest when I am writing some sort of code. I also do custom development if and when it is needed, I can make your website dreams come true!

When I am not knee deep in code, I maintain the hosting servers so everything keeps running along smoothly. For our clients on the SEO package, you will have likely received many emails from me giving you lots of fun data in the monthly SEO reports. Not sure what a SEO report is? That is Search Engine Optimisation, I work out how to get your website to appear high(er) up in search engines.

I came to Yellow Cherry straight from a 4-year degree in Computer Science from UHI, however my experience in all things technical goes way back. I’ve been building, running and developing computers/software/websites/servers since I was a wee lad.

Outside of Yellow Cherry, the technical fun doesn’t stop for me. I’m always tinkering with some new piece of software, hardware or just learning a new programming language to keep my skills sharp. Or drinking far too much tea. I have also been known to play Paradox strategy games a little too much. Tech mad, you might say!
