Hi everyone,
I thought it was about time that I formally introduced myself. I’m Amy and I am the Marketing Assistant at Yellow Cherry. I started my career with Yellow Cherry at the start of this year and I have now fully launched myself into the role, making me one of the newest recruits and the official champion of herbal tea drinking at Yellow Cherry! If you want to raise brand awareness, increase website visitors, run ad campaigns or generate leads (to name but a few), then I am the Cherry for you. I am very much looking forward to getting to know more and more of our clients and see how I can be a part of your marketing journey. Last year I gained my degree in Business Studies, and thanks to my ability to produce consistent results, I am proud to say I was the recipient of the university class medal! 🥇 As part of my degree, I interned with an Edinburgh-based social media/digital marketing agency, and it was there that my experience in the marketing space propelled my interests and helped me decide where I wanted my career to go. Now, I strive to pass on my ability to produce consistent results to our clients so we can grow together in the Yellow Cherry marketing world!
Before my role at Yellow Cherry kicked off, I worked a good stint in hospitality along the bonny shores of Loch Ness and, yes, you can put money on the fact that I’ve met tonnes of Nessie hunters, and naturally upsold my fair share of all things Scottish. The big question is, did I see Nessie while working there? I will leave you in suspense a little bit longer…👀🦕
Outside of the office, I’m a keen bean in the kitchen, no surprise then that I am also an avid cookbook-collector. My favourite and most used cook book being Dishoom, although if you ask me the same question again in a week, my answer to it may well change! I love travelling and visiting new countries, in fact, I am currently out of office, exploring the bright lights of the Big Apple. Foodie recommendations coming right up! It is probably no shock that another big passion of mine is that I am a lover of writing holiday itineraries that revolve around…good food. Can you see a theme emerging here?! My biggest recommendation so far is the food hall to end all foodhalls… Torrehallerne in Copenhagen, delicious! Now I just can’t wait to get to my dream destination of Seoul under my belt, I have been dreaming about all the Korean street food for years!
Aside from all the travelling, cooking, baking and sampling new foods, I’m a fair-weather longboard rider and self-confessed Eurovision fan (not necessarily at the same time!). I’ve also started dabbling in the art of crocheting, specifically for houseplants so that I can keep the Yellow Cherry greenery looking cute and cosy!
