Meet the Beyonce of Account Management, Louise!

Hello all,

I’m Louise, the Account Manager at Yellow Cherry, and as you may know me for being the first port of call for projects, I have probably had a good chat with you all already. If not, then it is only a matter of time, I love catching up with all our clients, new and old!

I started my life in Yellow Cherry nearly 5 years ago (eeek!), working my way up from Marketing Assistant, to managing all our client accounts. The best way to describe my role is as a translator, but not necessarily in the way you are thinking, although I can say a few words in Gaelic, honestly! I translate clients requirements into tech terms for our designers and developers so they can go wild and create, and then translate tech jargon back to the client so that the process is smooth and transparent. I tend to work on numerous projects at the same time, so you could say my brain looks like a computer screen, with multiple tabs open at once, however, my actual computer screen tends to be limited to 3 tabs as I can’t cope with more! I also do lots of behind the scenes organising (for both clients and my fellow Cherries), fire marshalling and managing, even gaining my SVQ in Management earlier this year.

Both out of and in work, I enjoy a good pun, coffee, baking, mint chocolate (definitely not a hint…hint, hint.) and planning for all eventualities before they have even happened, this is where all those brain tabs come in very handy!

My biggest personal triumph is climbing Mount Kilimanjaro when I was a tad younger, although these days I may prefer climbing into bed for a good snooze! Especially in the autumn, I love nothing more than a sunny but cold day, turtle neck, puffer jacket and sunnies with a good coffee in hand… you could say coffee is part of my daily grind.
