Wanting to stand out from typical book & payroll companies, Orchard required a bright and creative logo while still appearing smart and professional, aligning with their personality and work ideology. The use of a muted yet vivid palette, mixed with a strong typeface helped refine the branding with the custom ‘r’ representing a tree sapling or apple core tying into the companies roots since the business was started on an old orchard farm, hence the name ‘Orchard, books & Payroll’ comes from.
